Be sure you have read the Create a BOM by Importing Excel

Importing Excel which contains property of “Links”.

If your excel has a column (property) which contains hyperlinks and you want to keep them as links you must take care to define the Property Name as one which exists in OpenBOM as a type=Reference.

This Excel file to import has the link property defined as “Supplier Link”, a property which already exists in OpenBOM and is type=Reference.

To find an existing OpenBOM property which is defined as a Reference (or anything else) go to the OpenBOM dashboard->Property Tables->Public and search for Reference properties and choose one you like.  I used Supplier Link in my example.

Next Import your Excel as BOM or Catalog.
