Import BOM from desktop CAD or Fusion 360

®openBoM gives you the ability to import BOMs from CAD systems.  There are three methods for doing so depending on the CAD system.

  • Via an integrated app, for example, Onshape.  More information available, here.
  • Via a downloadable plug-in.  More information available, here.
  • Via Autodesk Fusion 360 account. More information available, here.

  • Altium Designer™
  • Onshape
  • DS SOLIDWORKS™
  • Siemens Solid Edge™
  • By service agreement: DS CATIA, PTC Creo™, and Siemens NX™

OpenBOM CAD integrations are available via the “Integrations” button in the Dashboard:

When the “Integrations” button is clicked, a window with supported CAD plugin will appear:
