OpenBOM offers an embedded integration with large number of desktop and cloud CAD systems via integrated plug-in applications. A list of all supported CAD systems and what is available, navigate to the following link in OpenBOM website.
Below you can find instruction how to start using OpenBOM CAD integrations included in OpenBOM subscriptions.
Altium Designer
To get access to Altium integration, please contact OpenBOM support (support@openbom.com) and provide email of your Altium account. We will make Altium plug-in available for installation via Altium App Store.
Autodesk Inventor
Download the OpenBOM for Autodesk Inventor plug-in and run the installer which will add the OpenBOM menu to your Autodesk Inventor Assembly Tab Toolbar. Use the OpenBOM Settings to configure your account and password if needed. More detailed installation instructions including videos and images are here.
Autodesk Fusion360
Autodesk Fusion plug-in is Add-in script that must be added to Fusion360. Both Mac and Windows version of Fusion360 are supported. Following the instruction here to download and install plug-in (NOTE: We are working to make Fusion360 available via Autodesk Fusion App store soon).
Dassault Systems SOLIDWORKS
You can download Solidworks OpenBOM plug-in via integration dialog in OpenBOM. After downloading plug-in, please run installer and you will see plug-in available in via Solidworks toolbar (if Add-in is not available, please insure Add-in is enabled vis Solidworks Add-in user interface) . Navigate to Settings to configure your account and password.

Kuboteck KeyCreator
KeyCreator is coming preconfigured with OpenBOM commands (Settings and Export BOM). Navigate to the following link for detailed instruction.
Onshape
OpenBOM integration Onshape application is available in the Onshape App Store. It is a full cloud solution. You must subscribe to the Onshape OpenBOM application via the Onshape app store and following instructions to activate it in your account.
Siemens PLM Solid Edge
You can download Solid Edge OpenBOM plug-in via integration dialog in OpenBOM. After downloading plug-in, please run installer and you will see plug-in available in via Solid Edge toolbar. Navigate to Settings to configure your account and password.
